About MSA
Matthew Sullivan Architect, LLC was established in 2017 as a way to turn a passion for architecture into a business. Licensed in both Connecticut and New York states, MSA focuses on unique, residential projects in the Northeast. Whether new construction or an addition/renovation to an existing home, the goal of each project is to balance the client’s program requirements, site conditions, schedule and budget in a tasteful way. Although not tied to a singular architectural style, MSA places an emphasis on historical precedents and using regional materials and construction methods to create homes that are contextual and long lasting.
Matthew holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Philadelphia University and is an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Connecticut chapter. While working at boutique architecture firms in both New York City and Greenwich, MSA has gained over 13 years of experience working on custom residential and high-end retail projects. Throughout those years, he has learned the importance of listening to the client’s goals and collaborating with talented consultants to help accomplish them.
Matthew lives in Fairfield with his wife Sydney, sons Hudson & Colby and daughter Bailey. Matthew enjoys traveling, playing golf, drinking coffee, watching hockey and is a lover of salmon, mint and all things Ireland.
